Did you know that shelters are flooded with thousands of adoptable kittens each year? Since our mission is saving pets and enriching lives, we’ve taken a bold step to change the outcome for kittens in the Los Angeles area. Our Catty Wagon is takin’ it to the streets – kittens and all – to get the word out and help find these fluffballs forever homes.
How, you ask? From the marvelous minds of the folks at Michelson Found Animals Foundation, we give you (drumroll…) the Catty Wagon!
In its past life, it was a mere food truck serving up grub-to-order. Today, it’s been transformed into a real-life Barbie Van for kittens – and trust us when we tell you, this baby really purrs!
As the first custom-built, mobile adoption vehicle created just for kittens, the Catty Wagon makes it possible for thousands of shelter kittens to find forever homes. Every detail was constructed with the comfort and safety of kittens in mind – – from the top of its kooky cat ears to the tip of its designer tail, when you see the Catty Wagon roll up, you know some major kitten magic is about to be unleashed. Best of all, the Catty Wagon makes it possible for kittens to travel in style, so they can find their Cat-Moms and Cat-Dads, wherever in LA they may be.
The Catty Wagon is making its maiden voyage this week, and will be stopping at places like farmer’s markets, trading posts, flea markets, festivals…anywhere there might be a potential adopter looking for a feline bestie. Could that be you?
